Judith Beck Ink Blaufrankisch (2022)

A lovely organic wine, lively, fresh and very approachable natural red from Austria. This is a great example of how Austrian wines can have both finesse and drinkability, a deliciously light red made from Blaufrankish that really packs a punch with flavour. Dark cherry red, with a bright nose of blackberry fruit and a smooth, supple palate. The tannins are soft and the finish is spicy and fruity, not at all funky. The fermentation is natural in large wood barrels, and the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. Enjoy Judith Beck Blaufrankisch on its own or with most foods.
